CLINICIAN ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CAP)
Helping Our Heroes Heal — One Session at a Time
At the Honor and Courage Foundation, we recognize the unique and often invisible wounds carried by our nation’s veterans and first responders. The trauma, stress, and emotional toll of service can leave lasting scars that deserve understanding, care, and support.
That’s why we created the Clinician Assistance Program (CAP) — a dedicated initiative designed to connect veterans and first responders with compassionate, experienced mental health professionals who understand their world.
What We Do
Through our Clinician Assistance Program, we’ve built a growing network of trusted therapists and clinicians who have a heart for service and specialized experience working with Veterans and First Responders. These professionals have joined forces with our Foundation because they share our mission: to prevent suicide, promote healing, and provide life-changing mental health care to our heroes.
How It Works
We connect veterans and first responders with vetted, qualified therapists in their area.
We help cover the cost of therapy sessions for those who qualify, removing financial barriers that may prevent access to critical mental health support.
We provide confidential support and guidance throughout the process, ensuring that every step is taken with compassion and respect.
You’re Not Alone
If you are a veteran or first responder struggling with your mental health, please know: help is here. Reaching out is a sign of strength — and we are ready to walk beside you on your healing journey.
Let us help you take that first step.
. All assistance is based on our current funding.
. Assistance is available to Veterans with an Awarded disability rating of 50%
. Must have not less than 6 months of active duty status
. Must have an honorable discharge listed on DD214
