With over 20 years of experience in Veteran healthcare and nonprofit leadership, I have dedicated my career to serving wounded Veterans and their loved ones. As a Researcher at the Department of Veterans Affairs since 1999,I have contributed to vital research supporting the health and recovery of our nation's heroes. From 2007 to 2024, I served as Executive Director of Operation Ward 57, a nonprofit committed to supporting wounded Veterans and their families through advocacy, outreach. and direct assistance programs. I hold a master’s degree in psychology and have been recognized with multiple awards for my service and leadership. My commitment to public service extends into volunteer roles with the City of Orting Civil Service Commission, the Washington State Patrol Independent Investigation Team, the Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League, and Sound Life Church. My background combines evidence-based research, nonprofit strategy, and a heartfelt dedication to the well-being of those who have sacrificed for our country.
